Rapid FR: electrify your Nissan Leaf

Dimsport electrifies you with Rapid FR. Our brand new throttle module is now available for second generation Nissan Leaf with 40 kWh battery. The maximum power of 122 CV from the electric engine stays the same and the module changes the sensibility of the throttle. You have 28 different setting to choose from maximum acceleration to sporty driving to economy run for better range.

Driving Experience

The Nissan Leaf with Rapid FR offers a quicker response compared to the original car. You can access to a sporty feeling but you can also access to more specific settings dedicated to energy saving with a softer response and a higher range. This is crucial for electric cars and is a completely new approach for Dimsport for the powertrain fine tune.

One Harness, different applications

Harness FRFR05 used for Nissan Leaf can also cover many other application of the Renault-Nissan Alliance. Rapid FR can be installed with the same cable on Nissan Note, Renault Clio, Captur, Kadjar, Kangoo e Scenic, but at the same time is used also on Smart EQ Electric 60 kW.

CHOOSE YOUR DRIVING STYLE!

Rapid FR features unique hardware capable of handling analogue, PWM and SENT signals so that it can cope with the greatest possible number of applications on the market, incorporating the selection of four driving modes with seven adjustment steps each in a single ergonomic device. A further mode allows the module to be reset, and it can also restore the last selection in the memory when the vehicle was started.

The four modes

Rapid FR does not provide power or torque increases, but alters accelerator pedal response, so that the vehicle reacts appropriately according to personal driving style, route and the specific requirements of each user.

LIMIT mode can be used to limit the control’s operation in order to optimise consumption or when the car is used by other drivers.

CITY mode permits smoother response when driving in traffic, while maintaining greater response when more power is requested.

SPORT mode emphasises the vehicle’s characteristics, enhancing response over the whole range of the pedal, whereas RACE mode offers the most immediate reaction
